ODECON has successfully designed, constructed, and commissioned an extensive network of over 100 modern service stations and retail assets across East and Southern Africa. These projects have been executed end-to-end — from initial concept development and site planning to construction, commissioning, and operational handover. Each station is developed in full compliance with brand standards and regulatory requirements, ensuring safe fuel dispensing, efficient customer flow, and the integration of value-added retail and non-fuel services.
Civil Installations
- Forecourt layouts with fuelling islands under canopies and multiple dispensing lanes for efficient operations.
- Underground storage tanks (USTs) with sump containment, vapor vents, and environmental protection features.
- Paved access roads, traffic circulation lanes, and heavy-duty hardstands.
- Auxiliary structures including service bays, convenience stores, restrooms, security guardhouses, and electrical distribution rooms.

- Automatic tank gauging systems for accurate level monitoring, leak detection, and overfill prevention.
- Product transfer piping designed for long-term durability and corrosion resistance.
Electrical Installations
- Full power distribution for pumps, lighting, point-of-sale equipment, and operational systems.
- Canopy and perimeter lighting for safe 24-hour operations.
- Electrical infrastructure designed to ensure operational safety and reliability.
Fire Protection
- Forecourt drainage and spill containment systems to manage fuel leaks or overflows.
- Strategically placed portable fire extinguishers for rapid emergency response.
