Designed to international standards, the terminal integrates large-scale mounded storage, automated filling, and bulk handling systems. Upon completion, it will serve as a benchmark project in Tanzania’s LPG sector, strengthening domestic supply security while positioning Dar es Salaam as a regional export hub. Scope Current Status Strategic ImpactThis terminal will secure Tanzania’s LPG supply chain, reduce reliance on imports via smaller terminals, and enhance regional energy trade by supporting bulk exports to neighbouring countries. Kampala Storage Terminal (KST) – Uganda

Technical Highlights Strategic Impact KST will transform Uganda’s petroleum logistics by reducing reliance on cross-border storage, enhancing national reserves, and stabilizing supply and pricing. OILCOM CNG Mother Station – Dar es Salaam

Status: Under Construction | Planned Completion: Q2 2026Capacity & Services: Large-scale CNG storage, vehicle refuelling, and conversion facilities. OverviewThe Mwenge CNG Mother Station is Oilcom’s flagship entry into Tanzania’s alternative fuels sector. Located at the upgraded Mlalakua service station in Dar es Salaam, the facility will deliver high-capacity compressed natural gas storage and distribution, direct vehicle refuelling, and professional conversion services for petrol and diesel vehicles. It is the first in a planned national network of mother and daughter stations to expand access to CNG across Tanzania. Scope Strategic ImpactStrategically located on the TPDC gas pipeline, the station will reduce reliance on liquid fuels, lower transport costs, and accelerate Tanzania’s transition to cleaner, sustainable energy. The project has been designed, engineered, and will be constructed by the ODECON team, reinforcing their expertise in clean energy infrastructure development.
